Wedding Cake Pics-Part 1
After many hours of research, here is what I've found to be The Top 4 Wedding Cake Trends:
1. Monograms- Metal Monogram Toppers,or on the front of the cake.
2. Scroll Patterns- The "S" or "C", and many more, scrolls all over,or just a few..its up to you!
3. Gerbera Daisies- A colorful ,fun ,cost effective choice.
4. Ribbon Borders- Another way to accessorize your cake with your color theme.Ribbon gives a clean look and finish to the cake. Also, another cost effective choice.
So I've started practicing these trends on a dummy cake. Armed with a handful of ribbons, flowers and the new "trend" knowledge...These are just a few of the ideas I came up with for the first part of this mission. Next...Scrolls and Monograms...!!

The Cake run...
So along with the 3 heart cakes, I also had a bridal shower cake. Hot pink fondant, vanilla icing& a "J" monogram. Last but not least, my very dear friend Kacey's birthday was also in the same week(SUPERBOWL SUNDAY)...so I made this yummy yellow cake with chocolate icing and fondant accents....this week was BUSY, and I liked it!
A Special Valentines
The customer that ordered this cake wanted something a little more in design than what you would see at the grocery store. She wanted it to be heartshaped ,red, hot pink& white. Then saw one of my Georgia cakes and wanted to put a "G" on it. She was sending this cake to Athens- GOOOOO DAWGS! Since then she has ordered two more.
