A Special Valentines

The customer that ordered this cake wanted something a little more in design than what you would see at the grocery store. She wanted it to be heartshaped ,red, hot pink& white. Then saw one of my Georgia cakes and wanted to put a "G" on it. She was sending this cake to Athens- GOOOOO DAWGS! Since then she has ordered two more.

60 & Still Sassy!

My new favorite cake! This was for a dear friend's mom. Her family put an add in the paper and used the "60& still Sassy" line. I carried this line to the cake. The cake is a 6&8inch tier, homemade buttercream icing. The "60" and the yellow, red, orange daisies are homemade marshmallow fondant and have gold dust on them.(for a little sparkle) :) This "sassy" lady deserves it!

Daisies

This cake was for my Granny & her sisters. The flowers are made out of homemade marshmallow fondant(yummy).

Going to the Chapel!

My first wedding cake...with a 48hr notice! I love the scrolls, dots &taupe ribbon. Love it! I am already booked for a 5 tier in May...yay!

Jackson's 2nd Birthday!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jackson! My son loves TRUCKS...so i made this cutie pie dump truck, complete with chocolate wheels and full of M&M's.This was my first try at homemade marshmallow fondant.

Lets hear it for the boys!

All of these cakes were for family and friends. The Lego cake was a challenge, but turned out awesome. The Star Wars and Lego cake were both fondant and the Georgia cakes were done using a stencil. These images are off of my phone, because I forgot to take pictures!

1st Birthday Cupcake cake

First birthday's are so special, to me. I was so excited to have the chance to "remake" this cake. The person who needed this wanted it to match her first child's birthday cake. The cake was yellow with buttercream icing and fondant stripes.Happy Birthday Eliza!

**The fondant I used for this cake was awesome. It tasted like candy. The purple stripes were grape flavor and the pink was strawberry flavor. Most people dont want fondant on their cakes, seems like a waste. Most of the time its peeled off the cake and thrown away. BUT this fondant you will want to eat. It was brought to my attention by a family member(huge thanks). I odered some samples, and it is the BEST. The company has several flavors including; buttercream, tutti frutti, chocolate, vanilla, blueberry to name a few. Dont be afraid of fondant, this stuff is amazing!!
